Who we are

Sayseal ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at sayseal.com and the Sayseal application. Sayseal is a proposal generation tool that helps freelancers and agencies create professional proposals quickly.

What data we collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Business information: Your business name, contact details, logo, brand colors, and other profile information you provide in your settings.
• Voice recordings: Audio recordings you submit for transcription. These are processed in real time, transcribed, and not permanently stored. Audio files are deleted immediately after transcription is complete.
• Proposal content: Text input, transcripts, and generated proposals that you create, edit, and send through Sayseal.
• Payment information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• Usage data: How you interact with the service, including proposal views, feature usage, and basic analytics.

How we use your data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Sayseal service.
• To transcribe your voice recordings and generate proposals based on your input.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (proposal deliveries, account notifications).
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Voice recordings

Voice recordings are sent directly to our transcription provider for processing. Once transcription is complete, the audio file is deleted. We do not retain, archive, or use your voice recordings for any purpose other than generating the transcription you requested. The resulting text transcript is stored as part of your proposal data.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely on servers provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data.
• Restriction: Request restricted processing of your data.

Data retention

We retain your account and proposal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons. Voice recordings are deleted immediately after transcription.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Children's privacy

Sayseal is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Sayseal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
